If you have carpets, there are two common carpet stains that can be hard to treat. Those two carpet stains are red wine and candle wax. Here are a few suggestions to help you to remove those stubborn stains.
If you spill red wine on your carpets, the first suggestion is to quickly take an absorbent cloth and try to absorb as much of the wine as possible. Next, rinse the area with cold water, and then blot the area. Then, take a solution of 1 Tbsp of each white vinegar and liquid dish soap to 2 cups of water, and spritz or sponge the area. Blot the area, and then again rinse with cold water. After, blot dry again.
If you spill hot candle wax on your carpets, you will first want to let the candle wax cool. Then, try to scrape off as much of the wax as possible. Next, place paper towels over the wax, and press the paper towels with a warm iron. After the area cools again, fluff the carpet fibers with your fingers.
Hopefully, these few suggestions will help you to get rid of those stubborn stains before they become permanent. There are stain remover products available, just make sure to follow their instructions carefully.
